Snowline Outfitters License #366
Established in 1987, Snowline Outfitters specializes and promotes trophy hunting by managing for quality not quantity. We have two ranch leases in Eastern Montana. Both ranches encompass approximately twenty square miles each. We only take 8 to 10 hunters per season total(4 per ranch). Trophy mule deer are our specialty. In 2006, the average buck was 170 points gross B.C. The largest was 29 inches wide and scored 188 points Boone & Crockett. Hay fields, rolling timbered hills, prairie, and open grasslands make the country easy to hunt. We hunt from a 4X4 pickup truck and make short walks. Accomodations, taxidermy drop off, and meat processing facilities are available approximately thirty minutes from the ranch in Forsyth, Montana.
We also offer a great antelope hunt. Draw for a permit in unit 700, with a 40% draw. Great bucks averaging 14.5 inches and scoring in the mid seventies. We take 6 antelope bucks per season. Hunters can also hunt doe antelope. The antelope hunt is a great first hunt or a great father/son hunt.
Our rifle hunts for elk are by permit only. Hunters must have a valid elk license in order to apply for the special elk permit. Our bulls have an averaged 325 points since 2004. We take one to two bulls per year. Our archery elk hunts are during the last seven days in September. No drawing for a special permit is required. We take two archery elk hunters per year. This is a great hunt and a chance at a really good bull. We bugle hunt, tree stand hunt, and hunt from ground blinds on water holes.
